But that's just what you will find at the new Burgerim that just opened its first Westchester location: small, think 2.8 ounces, burgers all of kinds.
The brainchild of an Israeli company, Burgerim, whose new area location is on Route 1 in Mamaroneck, offers something for everyone in a fast, casual style atmosphere.
The menu features of a variety of patties including falafel, turkey, grilled chicken, crispy chicken, salmon, lamb, vegetarian, and drum roll here, Angus beef.
But, before you order at Burgerim, known that the little burgers are pronounced "burger-eem," which is Hebrew for "many burgers."
Okay, back to the burgers. Once you select what type of patty you desire, then comes the topping and they offer an awesome assortment including every type of cheese to eggs and fresh jalapeno, to avocado and pineapple. They are served on homemade brioche-like buns.
After you finally figure out the burger. You will want to focus your mind on the fries, which are cut flat and fried, (or sweet potato) and one of the many types of shakes.
The business is owned by local Mamaroneck resident Nick Vurchio. A second one is set to open in Dobbs Ferry in June.
The restaurant is located at 1137 West Boston Post Road. For delivery or info call: 914-835-0054. The restaurant is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, and until 9 p.m. on Sunday.
